Public Notice is hereby given that the Greenwood Board of Adjustment will conduct a public hearing on: MONDAY, July 26, 2010 at 6:30 pm at the Greenwood Town Hall for the following variance:

Site Size: 197' shoreline/2 acres
Zone: SMU-9
Request: To construct a 3000 sq. ft. home 82-90' from the lakeshore and a 520 sq. ft. boathouse located 10' from the shoreline
Relief from: Art. III, Sec. 5.02 requiring a setback from the ordinary high water level that equals 150% of the standard setback requirement (112.5 feet)

Address: 42577 Birch Point Road
Legal: Lots 101 and 102 Birch Point First Addition
Site Size: 100' shoreline/.6 Acres
Zone: RES 9
Request: Construct a 1080 sq. ft. garage 20 feet from the road centerline
Relief from:
Art. IV, Sec. 4.02, requiring a maximum building footprint area of 15%
Art. III, Sec. 2, requiring 1 acre, 150 ft. of shoreline and 25% maximum lot coverage
Art. III, Sec. 4, requiring a setback of 48' from the road centerline
