Public Notice of Annual Election of Officers

The annual election of officers will be held at the Greenwood Town Hall on: Tuesday, March 9, 2010 - Polls open from 7 am - 8 pm The annual town meeting will be at 8:15 following close of the election. The Town Board will meet following adjournment of the annual meeting to canvass election results and pay bills. * In the event of inclement weather, the election and meeting will be held one week later, March 16 for the same hours and times. Offices to be elected: Supervisor - Position 2 - 3 Year Term Supervisor - Position 3 - 2 Year Term Clerk - 2 Year Term Absentee Voting is anytime before the election with special hours on: Saturday, March 6 from 10 am - noon at the Town Hall Monday, March 8 from 9 am - 5 pm at the Town Hall To request an absentee ballot, one must fill out an application with your signature required. An unsigned application will not be processed. * Absentee ballot applications are available at the town hall and on this website under "Other Information" You may fax your signed application to: 218-753-6006 Or send to: Greenwood Township - 3000 Co. Rd. 77 - Tower, MN 55790 To vote in this election, one must be 18 years of age, a citizen of the United States and a Resident of Greenwood Township for 20 days immediately preceding election day.
