- The size of the fire must be limited to a 3 foot diameter and should be at least 25 feet from any building or combustible structure such as decks or fences
- Only wood may be burned. No rubbish can be burned at any time.
- A responsible adult must be present at all times.
- A means of controlling or extinguishing the fire must be available at all times. (Garden hose, shovel and loose dirt, for example)
- You must check the status of burning bans before you start your fire.
- Any Police or Fire Department Officer may withdraw permission for the fires due to climatic conditions, extreme dryness, nuisance problems, or violations of these guidelines.
