Greenwood Township Planning Commission will conduct a Public Hearing on: Monday, December 8, 2008 -- 6:30 pm - Greenwood Town Hall A public hearing will be held on December 8, 2008 commencing at 6:30 pm at the Greenwood town Hall (3000 County Road 77) to review the Waters of Vermilion EAW and all related public comment received. The public comment period began November 3, 2008 and terminated December 3, 2008. Waters of Vermilion is a residential Planned Unit Development (PUD) located in Pike Bay of Lake Vermilion that was first approved in 2002. The Greenwood Township Planning Commission granted, subject to Re-hearing, A waiver of design standards for Residential PUD?s to increase dockage from 8 to 45 boat slips. The hearing will take place before the Greenwood Planning Commission pursuant to Art. II, Sec. 2 of the Greenwood Ordinance. A copy Of the EAW is on file with the Town Clerk at the Greenwood Town Hall, 3000 County Road 77, Tower, MN 55790 The Planning Commission will subsequently meet to adopt findings and conclusions from the Dec. 8 EAW hearing at a meeting of the Planning Commission scheduled for Monday, December 15, 2008 at 6:30 pm at the Greenwood Town Hall, 3000 County Road 77, Tower, MN 55790. Contingent on the results of the EAW Review, a Re-hearing of the Waters of Vermilion dockage plan and request for waiver of design standards will be held by the Greenwood Planning Commission immediately following.
